Eligibility
The hotel sector is booming with upcoming food joints and expanding to the global market. Thus, the demand for hospitality experts has increased globally. Certificate course: The short term course generally spans from 6 months to 1 year. These courses can be applied for after completing 12th standard.
Diploma course: These courses can also be applied after 12th standard with a minimum of 40% marks and having English as a compulsory subject.
Degree course: A degree course in hotel management is generally of three years and requires minimum of 50% in the 12th standard with English as a compulsory subject.
Admission test

Conducted in April, every year, NCHMCT JEE is one of the important entrance exams of this stream. Students appear for these exams in order to get a good percentile. A good score determines the college and hence the course that one aspires to apply for. Branded hotel chains conduct few other admission tests to include candidates for their training camps and institutes.
